Volunteers are essential to the success of our program!
We seek individuals and companies that are passionate about the development and personal growth of teen girls. The donation of your time and resources allow us to create structured paths of success for our participants. There are many volunteer opportunities available to support AN IMAGE OF ME. Depending on offering, volunteers are needed to assist in he following areas, please see below.
Committee
The ultimate volunteer commitment is serving on one of AN IMAGE OF ME committees. A committee volunteer advocate for the organization’s mission and purpose, ensure financial resources through both fundraising and personal giving, recruit new participants and leaders, enhance the organization’s public standing, support the staff, and help strengthen the organization’s programs and services.
General
We really recommend that everyone experience AN IMAGE OF ME. If you feel you have a skill set that AN IMAGE OF ME could benefit from but it is not listed please feel free to contact us.
Facilitators/Speakers
Do you have the necessary tool and expertise to make a difference in a young girls life? AN IMAGE OF ME seeks dynamic professionals to empower teen girls with positive messages that will encourage our participants to develop a personal foundation of self respect, self motivation and a sense of integrity to make positive choices. AN IMAGE OF ME WE Leadership use a youth-centered approach that focuses on providing an environment of success to all teen girls through education, mentorship and leadership training opportunities.
Events
Every AN IMAGE OF ME event is the result of the hard work of many, and we’d love your assistance. Some volunteer roles include assisting with check-in and welcoming guests, serving as a AN IMAGE OF ME ambassador at an information table, serving on the event planning committee and more.
Mentors
​The most common way women volunteer with AN IMAGE OF ME is as a mentor to a teen girl. The mentor will take the lead in supporting participants through ongoing, one-on-one mentoring.
